Normally it's not necessary to cover your shetland or native pony with leg bandages and protectors but we all know how greedy these little ponies can be therefore a grazing muzzle might be just the thing to stop him becoming too fat and then getting colic or laminitis. Similarly they do like to have a good scratch, usually when you've got him all done up and in the box on the way to a show so I always like to pop a tail guard on just to make sure that I don't end up with him looking like a loo brush. And in the Summer it's nice to pop a fly guard on just to make his life a little bit easier. Goodness at this rate he'll be covered from head to foot.
